On behalf of the Durga Shakti Women Helping Women Trust, a breast cancer detection and awareness camp was held on 26.10.24. The camp was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister for People's Welfare and Health Department, Mr. Ma. Subramanian. Approximately 117 women underwent breast cancer screening during the camp, and lumps were detected in nine individuals. They were referred to the Government Omandurar Medical College Hospital for further treatment.
